Pathfinder is looking for a Country Director for its Niger office. Job title: Country Director (Niger Office) Place of work: Niamey (Niger) Report to: Senior Country Director, Cluster Lead (Continuous quality Improvement) Number of Direct reports: 4 Summary of Role: English Provides strategic leadership and direction of Pathfinder to achieve the organizational vision, mission, and objectives in the Niger country Office. Oversees Pathfinder Niger's programmatic and operational management. Represents Pathfinder with government, local and international organizations in the country. Leads in developing, overseeing implementation, reviewing, and monitoring of the country program strategy. Develops new programming initiatives, new partnerships and maintains existing partnerships while actively leading key phases of ongoing programs including phase out. Ensures cross learning and fertilization of knowledge across the organization in all areas of programming, national, regional, and international policies and development issues. Promotes fundraising initiatives to ensure effective operations of the country’s programs and its financial and grant management as well as the programs’ sustainability. Manages the financial and human resources of the country offices. Has a sound understanding of Donor's and Country requirements. Supervise la gestion programmatique et opérationnelle de Pathfinder Niger. Représente Pathfinder auprès du gouvernement et des organisations locales et internationales dans le pays. Diriger l'élaboration, la supervision de la mise en œuvre, l'examen et le suivi de la stratégie du programme national. Élaborer de nouvelles initiatives de programmation, de nouveaux partenariats et maintenir les partenariats existants tout en dirigeant activement les phases clés des programmes en cours, y compris l'abandon progressif. Assurer l'apprentissage croisé et la fertilisation des connaissances au sein de l'organisation dans tous les domaines de la programmation, des politiques nationales, régionales et internationales et des questions de développement. Promouvoir les initiatives de collecte de fonds afin de garantir l'efficacité des opérations des programmes du pays, la gestion des finances et des subventions ainsi que la durabilité des programmes.
